Taizun Hassonjee is the co-founder and President of the Tricone Group, leading the firm with a strong emphasis on execution, accountability, and value. His approach focuses on solving complex site and regulatory challenges while delivering high-quality outcomes at the lowest responsible cost.

A commerce graduate with a specialization in law from Nagpur University, Taizun began his career in a 125-year-old family building materials business before expanding into interior construction and general contracting. This early grounding shaped his deep understanding of materials, procurement, pricing, and supply chains. He brings extensive expertise in land acquisition and government relations, having worked closely with public authorities across India, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

His guidance on the Bhendi Bazaar redevelopment—an extraordinarily complex urban project involving major road closures and brownfield-to-greenfield transformation—earned him an honorary doctorate in recognition of his contribution. Under his leadership, Tricone Group has built a reputation for disciplined delivery, regulatory credibility, and dependable execution.
